3044943 - Sales Data Not Copied to The Partner Created From Account.

Symptom

sales data not copied to the partner that is created from Account.

Environment

SAP Cloud For Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Partners Work center.
  2. Click on More.
  3. Choose option Create from business partner 
  4. Select account XYZ (XYZ represent account ID)
  5. Click Create from business partner.
  6. New Partner view Opens.
  7. Fill the mandatory fields.
  8. Save it. 
  9. Open the Partner created and we see the sales data is not copied from account XYZ(XYZ represent account ID).

Cause

The sales data used for the partner for instance restrictions has nothing to do with the accounts sales data, it is no copied over in the Create from Business Partner context.This has been Identified as New requirement.

Resolution

This feature is not supported in the current release of SAP Cloud for Customer As of now sales data is no copied over in the Create from Business Partner context.
