Symptom

  • The following OS error is reported when ASE is shutdowned in Windows system

server  ASE shutdown by request.
kernel  bucket manager consolidator terminating
kernel  ueshutdown: exiting
kernel  Main thread performing final shutdown.
kernel  Blocking call queue shutdown.
server  SQL Server terminating because of system shutdown.
kernel  SySAM: Checked in license for 12 ASE_CORE (xxxxx.xxxx/permanent/**** **** **** ****).
kernel  NT operating system error 1717 in module 'nt386\ksource\clkprof\eventlog_nt.c' at line 698: (error 15100 while retrieving message text).
