3045330 - JDBC driver deployment on CPI tenant fails with error "Microsoft JDBC Driver for SQL Server is not allowlisted"

Symptom

  • You are using the Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) JDBC Receiver Adapter to connect with a MS SQL Server database.
  • When attempting to deploy Microsoft JDBC driver version 9.x e.g. mssql-jdbc-9.2.1.jre8.jar, as described in the SAP Cloud Integration guide, it fails with error:
    Artifact Artifact[id=<id>, type=BUNDLE, contentSize=<number>, description=null, tags=[[component.type=JdbcDriver], [db:database.type=Microsoft SQL Server]]] of type BUNDLE is not valid.
    Invalid artifact of type: BUNDLE. Reason: JDBC Driver: Microsoft JDBC Driver for SQL Server is not allowlisted.
