Resolution
- Previously, it was only possible to set exact values for the distribution guidelines.
- With this enhancement, operators can be used to set the distribution guidelines.
How to set distribution guidelines and group of ratings:
- Go to Manage Calibration Template > select Performance as the data source
- Select Data tab
- Select the rating element e.g. Overall Form Rating
- Select "Set distribution guideline"
- Select from the Operator dropdown menu
The following operators are supported:
- = Equal
- < Less than
- <= Less or equal
- > More than
- >= More or equal
- Is between
- Operators can be mixed within the guideline:
- Ratings can be grouped together:
Example based on the above guidelines:
Since “Did Not Meet” and “Needs Improvement” are grouped together their warning message will not display underneath the rating name in the bins directly.
Instead the warning message is displayed above the bins:
For both “Met Target” and “Superior” the message that subjects need to be added or removed is displayed next to the number (percentage) of subjects already in the bin.
Since both ratings are set as ranges, the information of how many users need to be added or removed is also displayed as a range:
Additional Information:
-
The new Distribution Range and Group of Ratings in Guidelines is only available for Calibration sessions that use Performance Forms as a data source.
-
The feature is not available for Employee Profile based Calibration sessions.
-
Distribution Guidelines can be viewed in the Dashboard, the Bin View, and the Executive Review.
-
Distribution Guidelines cannot be displayed in the Matrix Views.
- After 1H 2022 release, the guidline enforcement works for finalizing session if the distribution guideline is configured with range or group. It only works for single finalization, not for mass finalization.
