3045358 - Unable to Add Goals in Performance Form - PMGM Mobile

When creating Goals from the Performance form in the mobile app you might face the following error message:

• "Failed to send data. Please try again later" error message OR no response when clicking add goals on the the Performance Form in iOS app.
• "Error! Please try again" error message when clicking add goals on the the Performance Form in Android app.

• SAP SuccessFactors Mobile

The Performance Form has the Add goal permission enabled for the user, but the goal plan does not have create permission enabled.

Adding a goal on the Mobile Goal Plan:

1. Log in to the Mobile App (Android example)
2. Navigate to the performance form list
3. Open the performance
4. Click Add Goal under the goal section
5. User receives the "Error! Please try again" error message, and add goal page cannot be opened

The user will not be able to create performance/development goal in performance review form when user does not have create permission in Goal Plan. Currently the API mobile used is different from web side, which caused this difference.

The add goal button will still show up in performance form module as configured in performance form template file even though the goal template file doesn’t have the goal creation permission.

If the create permission is defined for the user in the goal plan, mobile users can add goals successfully on the performance form through a mobile device.
