3045406 - "Filter by measure" is grayed out or not appearing when using a HANA datasource in Analysis Office

Whenever using a HANA datasource (with a HANA view, for example) in Analysis for Office, if we try to apply a "Filter by Measure" on a measure, the option for "Filter by Measure" is grayed out or is not even coming up for the same, as per screen shot below:

Here is the same scenario when using a query in BW, where we can find the option to "Filter by Measure" on a measure and which was required with a HANA datasource:

Open a HANA view in Analysis Office -> Select a cell with a measure in the sheet -> Go to "Filter" button -> try to look for "Filter by Measure".

This is not a bug in the tool. There is a limitation by BICS since the query does not support conditions and only "simpleConditions", that means, that only a condition can be defined for one characteristic. Filter By Measure on the measure would affect all Characteristics of the query view.

The "filter by measure" should be applied JUST in a dimension within the sheet in the workbook.
