3045752 - Populating ZIP Codes (CEP) and Tax Jurisdiction Codes Lists - S/4HANA CLOUD

Customer wants a list of Brazilian CEP and Jurisdiction Codes in order to customize the system for Brazil Localization.

Customer needs to populate the information related to Tax Jurisdiction via CEP code.

For Cloud Customers

The CEP codes are provided by Correios and the Jurisdiction Codes from IBGE. Correios and IBGE are Brazilian institutions. Their websites are:

- IBGE Códigos de Municípios

- Busca CEP Correios

It is strongly recommended that you contact your accounting responsible in Brazil to know how to proceed and how to correctly obtain these data from Correios and IBGE. Besides, notice that these websites and the files contents are likely all in Portuguese.

Standard Jurisdiction Codes and ZIP Codes (CEP) are not delivered by SAP in any default list of such data mass, since customers are free to choose how postal codes/jurisdiction codes will be maintained.

Cloud customers can then create Tax Jurisdiction codes and associate them to CEP ranges via SSCUIs. For that, it is required to have the business role SAP_BR_BPC_EXPERT, acess the Manage Your Solution (application F1241), Configure Your Solution, and look for SSCUIs 102915 and 102916.
