3045884 - Revenue recognition for Inter-company sales from stock is not supported

Symptom

You found revenue recognition postings are not generated for classical inter-company sales from stock scenario.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

Make necessary configuration regarding revenue recognition.
Create inter-company sales order.
Make postings for the order and check the revenue recognition postings.

Cause

Currently event-based revenue recognition for classical Inter-company sales from stock (1MX) is not supported.
If you create such sales order, the system will not assign RA key to the order items.
There will not be event-based revenue recognition postings for such scenario.

Resolution

This function is not supported currently.

EBRR supports 5D2(Advanced intercompany sales).
