The purpose of this page is to explain the settings available in Admin Center > Nominations Set Up page.

Overview

The Nominations Set Up page in Admin Center allows administrators to select a few options that relate to how nominations are treated throughout the Succession module. 

The configuration options that can be found on this page are:

  • Hide succession nomination history entries prior to this date (leave blank to show all entries)
  • Enable Ranking of Successors
  • Allow Ranking across readiness
  • Allow succession reporters to launch future role competency assessments, if they have the appropriate form creation privileges
  • Filter Current Nominations portlet data by Succession Planning permissions
  • Hide pending nominations on the scorecard portlets from all users
  • Show all the families and roles in browse nomination tab
  • Automatically remove nominated successor if that user becomes incumbent
  • Apply target population to Talent Pool Nominations Permissions
  • In "Add Nomination" dialog, show separate fields for "Position" search and "Incumbent" search (recommended for better performance with extremely large number of users and positions)
  • Exclude nominees from seeing themselves within a succession plan
