3046317 - Error "The following error message comes from the external data service: status:500 body:Internal Server Error" encountered when refresh the model based on import data connection to Business ByDesign Analytics in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

When refresh the import job in the model based on import data connection to Business ByDesign Analytics, the following error message appears:
"The following error message comes from the external data service: status:500 body:Internal Server Error".

• SAP Analytics Cloud Enterprise Edition.
• Business ByDesign.

1. Login to the SAC tenant.
2. Open the model based on import data connection to Business ByDesign Analytics.
3. Switch to the data management tab, refresh the import job based on import data connection to Business ByDesign Analytics.
4. Notice that the import job finished with error "The following error message comes from the external data service: status:500 body:Internal Server Error" 

• The query is calling too much data from ByD which causes an error in ByD (OData), hence get the 500 internal server error.

• Either create a new mode based on the import data connection, but select only limited reports and not all the reports in Business Analytics. 
• Reduce the number of fields in the query builder and add a filter.
