3046608 - Hire Event Reason Translation - Onboarding

Symptom

  • The translations are not working when trying to Add new hire to onboarding even though Event Transfer translation are maintained in Manage Organisation, Pay and Job Structures.
  • Translations are working when processing a hire in Manage Pending Hires, but not when adding a new hire in Add New Hire to Onboarding.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Use Danish or other language as the system's default locale.
  2. Add new hire to onboarding
  3. In the event reason dropdown, translation is not working as it is still showing in English, but works fine when hiring a new hire in MPH.

Cause

In the current onboarding feature, translation for Event Reason and Company is not supported.

Resolution

At present, this is not included in the roadmap. If deemed necessary for the business, please submit an enhancement request.
