3047100 - How to Automatically Enable Quick Apply in Job Requisition via Business Rules - Recruiting Management

This article will explain how to automatically turn on the Quick Apply function through Business Rules in Recruiting.

Notice that the article intends to show the Business Rule feature capability and let the users be more familiar with the tool. The rule described can have different behaviors on different system. Please reach out to your Implementation Team and/or Partner for implement the same if you are having any issues with it.

First, make sure to have the Quick Apply properly configured in the Job Requisition XML template:

In Admin Center, go to Configure Business Rules, then create a rule as the following example:

* It either can be set with the “Always True” option.

After setting up the rule, go to Admin Center > Manage Rules in Recruiting. The rule must be inserted in the “Save Rule” section within the correct Job Requisition Template:

Note: It will be helpful if you set the field “Quick Apply” as required=”yes”, in your XML file so it will be mandatory to set it on, in case of any error occurs or the button does not be automatically enabled.

Alternative option to trigger this rule:

In “Admin Center” > “Managing Rule in Recruiting” > insert the rule inside “Field Change Rules”. You can choose any field to trigger the rule within.

When you manipulate the field you filled, the button will be manipulated as well.
