3047286 - Final Result Payout Amount in Reporting

• The field Final Results Payout Amount seen in reporting is not the same as that seen in Variable Pay.
• In Variable Pay the field shows as Final Payout.

1. Make a Variable Pay Report in Reporting.
2. Use Final Results Payout Amount as a field.
3. Use Final Payout in the worksheets.
4. Notice Final Results Payout Amount mirrors the value of Final Payout even though they are named differently.

Although Final Results Payout Amount and Final Payout will have the same values they are both their own individually labeled and named columns.
Final Results Payout Amount is defined for reporting only and exists independent of Variable Pay. The labels are stored in separate tables and are referenced to collect the data.

• To make a column that has a customizable label that will show the same in both Variable Pay and Reporting then a new custom column can be made for this purpose.
• This column will need to be made reportable in the design worksheet.
• Within the custom column define the formula to calculate the Final Payout for this column.
• The standard column can then be hidden if no longer needed.
