3047585 - Planning workbook is not opening input-ready and the Planning buttons are disabled

A workbook with a planning query (input-ready) is opened from BI platform, but the query is not opened in change mode and all buttons in "Planning" group are disabled.

The workbook connects to BW via OLAP connection and it was promoted from another BI platform.

The workbook contains planning objects (this can be checked in the Components tab in Design Panel).

The issue only occurs when opening workbook from BI platform (i.e. browser). When workbook is saved locally and refreshed, the query is opened input-ready and the buttons in Planning group are enabled.

1. Open Analysis workbook from BI platform (e.g. Launchpad);
2. Refresh the workbook in Analysis Office;
3. Confirm the query is not opening in input-ready mode and the buttons in Planning group are disabled.

The workbook contains planning objects. When refreshing the workbook, the input-ready query points to correct BW system but the planning object points to wrong BW system.

In Analysis Office 2.8 SP8 or higher version, make sure the setting UseSingleConnectionPerDestination is checked (TRUE).

This can be done via Excel File > Analysis > Customize Analysis > Technical Configuration.
