3047730 - Error Occurs When Assigning Number Group to Company Code

You assign the number group to the company code in the configuration activity Assign Number Group to Company Code (ID 101078). The following error message is displayed: "Each number group can only be assigned once in one company code".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Search for the configuration activity Assign Number Group to Company Code (ID 101078) in your configuration environment. 
2. Click New Entries.
3. Fill out the CoCd, Document class and No.gp. The No.gp already exists.
4. Click Save. The following error message is displayed: "Each number group can only be assigned once in one company code".

Each No.gp can only be assigned to one document class in each company code. Different document classes can't be assigned to one number group.

Check whether the No.gp you entered already exists. If yes, change the configurations in the configuration activity Assign Number Group to Company Code (ID 101078). Make sure that different document classes are not assigned to one number group.
