3047844 - Mass Data Management Edit Button Not Working When Creating a Mass Change

Symptom

When using the Mass Data Management tool, on the Create page, after selecting Positions to change the "Edit" button is not working.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure the Mass Data Management tool as per the handbook: Mass Changes in Employee Central: Configuring the Mass Change Request UI
  2. Navigate to Mass Data Management UI from Admin Center
  3. Select the "Create" option
  4. Filter and select a subset of Positions
  5. Select the "Edit" option
  6. Edit dialog is not opened, nothing happens

Cause

This is caused by the configuration of the fields in MassChangesJobConfiguration object in Manage Data.

None of the fields defined under fieldConfigurations have been set as "editable" and so no edits can be made via the Mass Data Manage UI.

Resolution

Please review your configuration and choose which fields you would like to Edit via this tool. Set the required fields to "editable" via Manage Data on the MassChangesJobConfiguration object.
