3048040 - Error "Not All Elements Are Connected To Each Other Below Header" During Migration of Bills Of Operations

Symptom

You are trying to import bills of operations into the system using the migration tool, however system throws error messages:

More than one entry without predecessor exists below header

Not all elements are connected to each other below header

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center
  2. Access the Overview view.
  3. Search for Migration of Bill of Operations and open the fine-tuning activity.
  4. Select the relevant template and click Execute Migration, then click Execute Migration Step by Step.
  5. The errors occur in step 3 - Simulate Import.

Cause

One or more sheets in the migration template have Row Number column values that are not maintained in sequence.

Resolution

The Row Number column values must be in sequence across all template sheets in order for the migration to complete successfully.
