3048259 - Recruiting email token values appear highlighted in yellow when sending ad-hoc emails - Recruiting Management

• Token values in candidate emails display with yellow highlighting after sending a manual (ad-hoc) email.
• Issue observed when sending from the Candidate page or the Application page.

1. Open the candidate profile or application page. 
2. Send a manual email to the candidate using a template. 
3. Check the received email and observe that values populated from tokens appear highlighted in yellow. 

Inline color styling was copied from a template that used highlighted tokens, adding color in the template’s HTML source around the tokens.

In order to avoid this from happening, for every template you would like to use, you should do the following steps:

1. Copy the desired template text. 
2. Paste the text into a plain text editor (for example, Notepad) to strip formatting. 
3. Copy the plain text from the editor. 
4. Paste the plain text back into the desired email template.
