3048618 - Planned order cannot be created by MRP for materials with procurement type 'F'

For material with procurement type 'F', after running MRP, only purchase requisition can be created.
The planned order cannot be created.

MRP on HANA always creates purchase requisitions for external procurement. The reason for using planned orders in the external procurement process was to separate responsibilities. The purchaser was responsible for purchase requisitions and the production planner for planned orders. The conversion of planned orders into purchase requisitions transferred responsibility from the production planner to the purchaser. Now, this process has been simplified that only purchase requisitions are generated for external procurement materials.
In addition, if the procurement type was set as 'X' and Special procurement type is '30',  per SSCUI: 101111, the procurement type 'F' is under special procurement type 30. In standard logic, for subcontracting material, also there should never be planned order.
Thus, the result will be the same as above. 

This is the standard behavior.
