3049031 - Custom Activity values are not saved in the Fine-Tuning

You have created some BCO and BCC files, along with the QA view on your add-on within the SAP Cloud Applications Studio.

When updating the fine-tuning values directly on the UI, you notice that your data is not changed.

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Open Overview view.
3. Search for the custom activity name.
4. Click on the relevant BC set name (if applicable).
5. Change the fields values of the existing entries.
6. Save your changes.
7. Data will not be updated

In case the BC Set rows have been defined directly on the .bcc file within the Studio, only the Description can be changed, if you have checked in the option "Change Description in Fine Tuning" on your .bcc file.

Apart from this, those entries defined in the Studio can only be added or deleted within the UI fine-tuning (Note that the "Values can be added in Fine-Tuning" and "Values can be deleted in Fine-Tuning" checkbox options should be checked as well on the .bcc file so you can add and remove entries/rows from the UI).

It is currently not possible to update/edit a BC Set entry via fine-tuning which was defined in the Studio, apart from the Description field (if the mentioned checkbox is selected).

However, if the entry was added in the activity fine-tuning (not defined on the Studio), it can be changed/deleted.
In such case when customer wants to keep updating the fine-tuning value in the UI, a dummy row can be defined in the .bcc file, where it can be also deleted from the UI, so all data is maintained via fine-tuning.
