3049033 - The user selection logic of "Auto Enroll from Waitlist" function

Customer is asking the logic how "Auto Enroll from Waitlist" function selects user to enroll.

And they want to re-order the waitlist so "Auto Enroll from Waitlist" function can select user in customer's expected order.

Currently the system order of the waitlisted users are based on the registration date by default.

In PA_ENROLL_SEAT table, the column WAITLIST_NUMBER indicates the waitlist order.

When waitlisted user added towards the end, WAITLIST_NUMBER +1000 to current max number.

Customer became able to re-order the waitlist order on UI since b1608 release.

How to re-order waitlist by LMS Admin:

1. Access Learning Administration

2. Enter a class page > Registrations Tab > View Waitlist > Press '...' on the right end of a user > Click Edit

3. The field Waitlisted (a/b) indicates User's current ranking in the list / The total number of waitlisted users, e.g (2/4)

4. Admin can edit User's current ranking in the list, e.g (1/4)

After customer's re-ordering, WAITLIST_NUMBER in PA_ENROLL_SEAT table will be generated accordingly, thus "Auto Enroll from Waitlist" function will work in customer's expected order.
