3049132 - ORA-01013 error when replicating from ASE to Oracle via ECO - SRS

Symptom

  • Replication from ASE to Oracle via ExpressConnect for Oracle (ECO)
  • When replicating stored procedures, if the execution time of the store procedure is longer than about 7 minutes, an error "ORA-01013: user requested cancel of current operation" will be raised and the DSI connection down:

    Message from server: Message: 1013, State 0, Severity 5 -- '[ statement ][ DS.db ] ociStmt::OCIReset ORA-01013: user requested cancel of current operation '.
    ERROR #1027 DSI EXEC(307(1) DS.db) - eneric/dsi/dsiutil.c(451)
    Open Client Client-Library error: Error: 22, Severity 5 -- '[ ExpressConnect for Oracle|connection ] /view/rs160sp03pl09_bldsysrs_vu//ccview/rs160sp03pl09_bldsysrs_vu/calm/repl/svr/code/generic/econn/oci/ociprepexec.cpp:1645 The statement execution failed.'.

  • Then DSI will retry the failed procedure but still fail with the same error.
