3049343 - Migrate your Data App – Migration Cockpit Error after Hotfix collection 07, /LTB/MC 142, Inconsistency found - synchronize staging tables, issue for migration projects created before HFC07

• Staging Table inconsistency found in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition systems Migration Cockpit after 2102 HFC07 (Hotfix Collection 07)

• For the SAP S/4HANA migration cockpit, while using an already created migration project which was created before HFC07 deployment, the following error message appears:

 /LTB/MC 142 Error, Inconsistency found - synchronize staging tables with migration objects

The issue was caused due to a correction deployed in HFC07. With the changes introduced with this hotfix, an inconsistency emerged in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition systems for some customer system tables, raising an error message "inconsistency found - synchronize staging tables with migration objects".

An adjustment of the staging tables is required. To do this adjustment, you use button “Adjust Structures”.

Steps

1. On the Migration Object Table screen of the relevant migration object, select the desired staging table(s).
2. Choose the “Adjust Structure”   button. 

 

 

3. Repeat this process for each migration object that needs adjustment.

 

Using the “Adjust structure” button, the system can change the structures of the selected staging tables so that they reflect the latest version of the migration object provided by SAP. Note that no data will be lost during this process.

Notes:

There is as fix of this issue for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition CE2105. However, for those migration projects that were created before the upgrade, users may still need to perform the manual “Adjust structure” operation to fix the issue.
