Symptom

User is creating a Intercompany Stock Transfer  Scenario with Create Purchase Order - Advanced App and selecting a Service Material

Errors: Purchase order still contains faulty items

ME124 : Material not subj. to inventory mgmt. in plant

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open App: Create Purchase Order - Advanced
  2. Create STO with service material

Cause

  • Material is not available in stock for plant entered.
  • Material type SERV does not have the Qty updating or value updating configuration in any standard SSCUI.

Resolution

In the standard system the stock transport is not possible for non-stock material types like SERV.
