3049888 - Username And Password Fields Blank After Saving

Symptom

After you fill the fields "username" and "password", save, close the object and open it again you will see that the fields are blank.

Environment

 SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

This is just an example. This behavior can happen in others screens.

  1. Go to "Administrator" Workcenter
  2. Open "Mashup Web Services" view.
  3. Open any mashup.
  4. Click on edit.
  5. Fill the username and password fields.
  6. Click on save and close.

Result: If you open again the fields will be blank.

Resolution

All confidential information (like Username, Password, API key and oAuth key) will not be read now from frontend and will be shown blank, so that it can not be exploited. Data remains in backend and will still be used wherever required.
