3050520 - How are the fields from Candidate Profile / Application being filled when using "Apply with LinkedIn" associated with "Resume Parsing"? - Recruiting

When your system have "Apply with LinkedIn" and "Resume Parsing" configured, when candidate uploads their resume, some fields from the application are erased and/or overwritten.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. A candidate uses "Apply with LinkedIn" and fills the application fields.
2. After the fields are filled, they attach their CV.
3. Many fields from the application will be erased or overwritten.

This is an expected behavior due to a product limitation.

Product management confirmed that if the field data is saved in the database, Resume Parsing will not overwrite the data.
Since as soon as the applicant hit "Apply with LinkedIn" the information is passed to the application screen, but not yet saved in the database, the candidate would have to save the application before adding the CV to not face such behavior.

An Enhancement Request will be required to change the product behavior.
