Symptom
- Clients receives Errors 712 "insufficient heap memory".
- On Windows, the ASE server may silently quit with a message in the errorlog which simply says:
Unknown reason
- On other platforms, there may also be a signal 11 error with a stack trace in the errorlog:
Current process (0x37001c) infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
Address 0x0x00000000012dc995 (Nsql::Close()+0x9), siginfo (code, address) = (1, 0x0x000000000000006c)
- The stack trace includes the functions:
