3050618 - Open Client isql fails to connect. ASE error log message SSL Handshake failed - enp_sslAccept failed sslerr - SDK for SAP ASE

Symptom

  • ASE is setup correctly with ssl, but isql fails to connect going to ASE's ssl port explicitly.
    • isql -Uusername -Sasehost:asesslport
      CT-LIBRARY error:
              ct_connect(): network packet layer: internal net library error: Net-Library operation terminated due to disconnect
    • Error seen in ASE logs 
      ssl_server_handshake: vsn 8 kpid 4128800 enp_sslAccept failed sslerr 0x20000422 state 2
      ssl_server_handshake: vsn 8 kpid 4128800 FAILED sslerr 0x20000422
