3050723 - Unable to delete dependent details when OnSave rule is configured

Symptom

System does not allow you to delete dependent details when OnSave rule is configured

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

Unable to delete dependent details from Dependent Information portlet

Replication steps:

1. Go to Dependents portlet and try to delete dependent details
4. Error appears from the configured Onsave rule

Cause

OnSave rules doe not work during delete dependent transaction

Resolution

This is a know defect that dependent personal info is not available for onsave rule when deleting dependents.

The workaround is to add below as AND condition to the rule.

Dependents Model.Dependents.Biographical Information is not equal to Null

KBA will be updated once the permanent fix details is available
