3051339 - [ONB] Why candidates can edit Person ID in Onboarding

We found that candidates can edit their person id in PDC step.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 

We cannot change visibility of this field to view and it shows that "As the field person-id-external is set to required it needs to have visibility "Edit" ". I also cannot control permission of  the individual field, because there are two more fields under Person Info. So how can new hires not be able to modify their person id?

Selected the field as Mandatory.

Choose the Person ID field as Non- Mandate and hit save, By then, this will auto changed the visibility as View instead of Edit.

Now you can re-test the same behavior and now you could see the Person ID field is changed to View only Mode.
