3051894 - MRP Run Parameters Also to Be Included in Planning

When scheduling a job in Schedule MRP Runs app, In the MRP Run Parameters, you have 3 options under 'Also to Be Included in Planning':

• Changed BOM Components
• All Order BOM Components
• Stock Transfer Material

What do these options mean?

1. Go to Schedule MRP Runs App.
2. Go to Parameters section.
3. You have 3 options: Changed BOM Components, All Order BOM Components and Stock Transfer Material.

Changed BOM Components

Controls whether you want to plan the BOM components during the planning run. Select this indicator if you want the system to plan the BOM components in addition to the materials selected in the Planning Scope section. In this case, the system only plans the BOM components for which the current planning run changed dependent requirements. Unchanged BOM components are not included in the planning run. Note that the system also plans BOM components that are stored in plants that are not specified in the Planning Scope section.

All Order BOM Components

Controls whether you want to plan all order BOM components during the planning run. Select this indicator if you want the system to plan all order BOM components in addition to the materials selected in the Planning Scope section. In this case, the system plans the components in any order BOM of the materials planned, even if the component requirement has not changed. Components with the special procurement key, withdrawal from alternative plant, are not considered - only components in the same plant as the output material.  

Stock Transfer Material

Controls whether you want to plan materials in the supplying plants during the planning run for stock transfer. Select this indicator if you want the system to plan the selected materials in the selected plants and additionally in their supplying plants - if changes relevant to planning have occurred in the supplying plants during the current MRP run. Note that the system also plans stock transfer materials in supplying plants that are not specified in the Planning Scope section.
