3052822 - Goods Issue reversal process and Outbound Delivery rejection in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Warehouse Management

Symptom

  • An outbound delivery has been created and distributed to Cloud WM (a Warehouse managed Storage Location).
  • Now you realize this outbound delivery is incorrect or is not needed anymore, the Goods Issue needs to be reversed and the OBD deleted/rejected.

Environment

  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud 

Resolution

  • From Cloud WM (EWM) side, it's not possible to delete an outbound delivery or a delivery item. Deleting a delivery item actually means zero'ing that item in the delivery, you may zero all delivery items if you need to cancel/reject the entire delivery.

  • You need to follow these steps to achieve this:

    1. Reverse the Goods Issue
    2. Cancel the WTs (if they are any in open status)
    3. Cancel pick the delivery/item
    4. Now you may adjust the delivery items quantities to 0

    5. To finish the process and close the delivery in LE side, click to Post Goods Issue. This will send a message to the delivery in LE side to be completed with 0 quantity.
