Symptom
You created a workflow to create an activity task and you wonder how the system selects its processor and employee responsible. This doubt appears even more when a technical user triggers the workflow.

Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Cause
The system considers the information described in the table below.
Activity Creation Flag | Account | Contact | Processor | Employee Responsible |
On | Data Found | Data Found | Recipient | Not set by WKF / Set by Activity to Current User ** |
On | Data Found | Data not Found | Recipient | Not set by WKF / Set by Activity to Current User ** |
On | Data not Found | Data Found | Recipient | Not set by WKF / Set by Activity to Current User ** |
On | Data not Found | Data not Found | Recipient | Recipient* |
Off | Recipient | Recipient* |
Remarks:
- 'Activity Creation Flag' means the "Determine Account and Contact from source object for the Activities created through Workflow Rules" flag available when selecting the workflow and clicking in the 'more' button and selecting 'Workflow Settings' option, shown in screenshot below:
- (*) means given that the recipient is an employee;
- (**) means the current user is a person and not a technical user - Set through Party User Determination by Activity.
Resolution
This is the system standard behavior.
