3053865 - SQL Error: EXTERNAL_ERROR during delta DTP execution from aDSO with INT1 field

Symptom

The execution of a delta DTP, which reads from an aDSO fails with one of the following errors:

  • RS_EXCEPTION000 SQL Error: EXTERNAL_ERROR
  • RS_EXCEPTION000 numeric overflow: numeric overflow occurred at
  • RSBK228 Exception CX_RSDHA_MSG logged

 

The work process trace of the DTP-s jobs show the following type of errors:

C  *** ERROR => fetched number X of column Y in row Z overflows INT1 range (0..255)

C  *** ERROR =>   execute() of C_0669, #rec=0, rc=1, rcSQL=314
