Error 'You are not authorized to use this function' occurs when trying to access Activity/SSCUI 'Specify Production Storage Locations for an MES' (SSCUI 103922).

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Search for Activity/SSCUI 'Specify Production Storage Locations for an MES' (SSCUI 103922)
  2. Try to access the Activity.
  3. An error occurs: 'You are not authorized to use this function'.

Cause

Missing Authorization.

Resolution

The error message is displayed because the user does not have the correct authorization. The following business catalog is missing in the business user role:

  • Business Catalog: Shop Floor Control - Configuration / Business Catalog ID: SAP_CA_BC_IC_LND_PP_SFC_PC.
