Symptom
With the introduction of Item Classification in 1H 2021 release, the Number of Days field was added on the Add New Item screen. When adding any number greater than 1 in this field, the Agenda that is created has the days in a subsequent manner. Not all Classes have agendas that take place over following days, how can this be avoided?
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Learning Activities > Items > Add New
- Select Instructor-Led as the Classification
- Add 3 in the Number of Days field
- Fill in any other required fields and create the Item
- In the newly created Item record, access the Agenda Tab
- Notice the Agenda has Day 1, Day 2, Day 3
Cause
The Number of Days field was added to make sequential agenda templates easier for admins. Prior to 1H 2021 release, each day had to be manually created.
Resolution
The sequential agenda template being created from the Number of Days field is expected behavior of the system. If this is not desired, while creating the Instructor-Led Item, set the Number of Days field to "1" and add any other days manually at the Agenda section.
- Go to Learning Activities > Items > Add New
- Select Instructor-Led as the Classification
- Add 1 in the Number of Days field
- Fill in any other required fields and create the Item
- In the newly created Item record, access the Agenda Tab
- Select to "+" symbol to add a new day and state the day such as 6 and save.
- The Agenda will now have Day 1 and Day 6. Otherwise, delete all the current Days and recreate as necessary.
