Symptom

Trying to configure SSCUI '104049 - Shift Note Types' and the following error message appears:

"You are not authorized to use this function
Message no. E2EIE_IC_MESSAGES029"

Cause

Missing authorization

Resolution

Add Business Catalog 'SAP_CA_BC_IC_LND_PP_SFC_PC' to the Business User in the Maintain Business Users application.
