3055470 - In Project Control app, during 'Copy' of a project, the 'Planned Start Date' and the 'Planned Finish Date' are incorrectly calculated to one day earlier than the exact date of the existing project.

Symptom

In Project Control app, during ‘Copy’ of a project, the ‘Planned Start Date’ and the ‘Planned Finish Date’ are incorrectly calculated to one day earlier than the exact date of the existing project.

Environment

 SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Fiori Application – Project Control
  2. Select an existing project which you want to copy.
  3. Choose Copy button.
  4. Enter either Planned Start or Planned Finish Date.
  5. Choose Copy to confirm copy action.

Cause

This is a known issue which is occurring due to an incorrect date calculation during ‘Copy’ action of a project.

Resolution

The issue will be fixed in release 2108CE .Until as a workaround, after saving the project, please correct the Planned Start or Planned Finish date manually.
