3055902 - Stock Availability from Product View

You want to have the ability to view the plant-based stock availability in the C4C product overview. Having the update on the product in the integrated scenario helps you to quickly verify the products and the available stock (that means physical stock).

Use case example: Having insight in the actual stock will help field sales to respond to the customers immediately, without having to register a quote first.

S4H On Prem version 1709 and newer

Cloud for Customer 2105 and newer

1. Go to Product Work Center
2. Open the Product Details
3. Go to Stock Overview tab

To scope the functionality:

1. Go to Business Configuration
2. Go to Implementation Project
3. Select your Project and click on Edit Project Scope
4. Go to Step 4 - Question
5. Navigate to the path: Communication and Information Exchange > Integration with External Applications and Solutions > Integration of Master Data
6. Tick the scope question: Do you want to receive stock information from an external application?

SAP 21/05 Coud Integration Release Note. 

Please take into consideration the following pre-requisites and takeaways:

• This new feature is available in C4C 2105 ownward releases
• This feature is only available if your middleware is SAP Cloud Integration
• CPI Iflow: Request Stock from SAP Business Suite (1.0.0)
• This feature is only available if your integrated system are:
• S4HANA ON PREMISE version 1709 or above
• S4HANA Cloud 2105 or above

• In order to enable this scenario, you also need to enable Product Replication

• On S4-OP Side, the Odata Service API_MATERIAL_STOCK_SRV needs to be enabled

• It is strongly recommended to integrate Plant replication (or at least create ID mappings for plants in C4C) or otherwise the Plant Names will not be available

• The scenario is applicable only for Physical Stock (e.g. neither open order nor open deliveries are displayed); If you want to show this up, you need to adjust the iflow query parameters manually to show a different stock type. Nevertheless, It would be no differentiation between the types on the stock tab in C4C.
