3055987 - Issue with Fiori navigation for TM apps in SAP Fiori for S/4HANA

Symptom

This KBA is collecting the issues with Fiori navigation for TM apps in SAP Fiori for S/4HANA 2020 and subsequent releases and the respective resolutions.

The main Error is "App could not be opened either due to an incorrect SAP Fiori launchpad configuration or a missing role assignment." However, you may encounter similar issue for different TM apps.

Part "Failed to resolve navigation target "#XXXXXX..." can be different depending on the app you use. For example,

  1. When navigating from Freight Settlements - Worklist to open a freight settlement document, there may be error: "App could not be opened either due to an incorrect SAP Fiori launchpad configuration or a missing role assignment.
    Failed to resolve navigation target "#FreightSettlementDocument-display?category=10&change_mode=&key=<key-uuid>..."
  2. When navigating from Profiles and Settings - Worklist to open an Optimizer Profile, there may be error: "App could not be opened either due to an incorrect SAP Fiori launchpad configuration or a missing role assignment.
    Failed to resolve navigation target "#OptimizerProfile-create?category=10&change_mode=&key=<key-uuid>..."
  3. When navigating from Profiles and Settings - Worklist to open a Planning Profile, there may be error: "App could not be opened either due to an incorrect SAP Fiori launchpad configuration or a missing role assignment.
    Failed to resolve navigation target "#TransportationPlanningProfile-change?change_mode=&key=<key-uuid>..."
