3056021 - Invalid characters in HTTP headers cause HTTP 500 or HTTP 502 errors when sending messages to SAP Cloud Integration

Symptom

When sending messages to SAP Cloud Integration instead of a proper response you either receive HTTP error 500 (Internal Server Error) in case of Neo Cloud Integration tenant or HTTP error 502 (Bad Gateway) in case of Cloud Foundry tenant. At the same time you can find the corresponding message in your SAP Cloud Integration tenant as successfully processed. HTTP access logs of the tenant also show this request as successfully processed with the HTTP 200 response. Typically only specific integration flows are affected while others continue working without any issues.
