3056868 - Access Restriction for Distribution Chain Price List does not Work as Expected

You have set up access restrictions for price lists for a user but the user is still able to see and edit Distribution Chain Price List.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Select the Business Users view.
3. Select user XYZ (XYZ represents the user ID).
4. Click the Edit button and select the Access Rights option.
5. Navigate to the Access Restrictions tab.
6. Select the work center view ID CRM_PRICELISTS.
7. You can see that the view is read and write restricted. The user only has read and write access for the org unit he is assigned to.

When user XYZ logs on to the system:

1. Go to the Product and Service Portfolio work center.
2. Select the Price Lists view.
3. In the show field select Distribution Chain Price List.
4. The user can see all Distribution Chain Price Lists.

In the Access Restrictions tab, the work center view ID CRM_DISCOUNTLISTS_GROSS and CRM_DISCOUNTLISTS also need to be set restriction.

For Distribution Chain Price List,

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Select the Business Users view.
3. Select user XYZ (XYZ represents the user ID).
4. Click the Edit button and select the Access Rights option.
5. Navigate to the Access Restrictions tab.
6. Select the work center view ID CRM_DISCOUNTLISTS_GROSS and CRM_DISCOUNTLISTS.
7. Set restriction for these two views.
