3057051 - Sales Orders Are Not Considered in the Projected Stock

Symptom

You have a Product XYZ (XYZ refers to the Product ID), with one or more Sales Orders assigned to this Product. However, if you open the Product Planning for XYZ, you see that the Sales Orders are not considered in the Projected Stock.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Supply Planning work center.
  2. Go to the Products view.
  3. Search for the Product XYZ.
  4. Click on the Open button.

You can see that there are Sales Orders being considered in the planning, however if you check the Projected Stock row, the amount from the Sales Orders is not subtracted from the Stock.

Cause

If the Demand Management Procedure is set as "ADRF - All demand reduce forecast".

Navigate to Supply and Demand-Product Information-ADRF

Sales Orders are not considered in planning. With this Demand, system will only consider Forecasts.

Resolution

This is the expected system behavior for "ADRF - All demand reduce forecast".
