Symptom

When using the API I_ExchangeRate to extract currency pair exchange rate the value comes negative.

Reproducing the Issue

Use the S/4HANA Cloud API I_ExchangeRate to extract currency pair exchange rate.

Cause

Currency pair quotation method has not been defined in customizing.

Resolution

Update the quotation method customizing for the currency pair in the SSCUI Define Standard Quotation for Exchange Rates (ID 102611) Manage your solution > Configure your solution or equivalent Central business customizing(CBC) for Standard Quotation for Exchange Rates.
