3057188 - Cannot access RMK Site that is connected to Sales Demo - Recruiting Marketing

Symptom

When trying to access the RMK site on Sales Demo, an error occurs or the visitor is redirected to an SAP Recruiting page : https://www.sap.com/products/hcm/recruiting-software.html 

Example of error: NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to RMK sales demo site
  2. You will not reach the site but will receive an error stating that the connection is not private or you will be redirected to https://www.sap.com/products/hcm/recruiting-software.html .

Cause

Site URL was incorrectly configured as SFPART******.valhalla[DC].jobs2web.com.

Resolution

Sales demo for RMK instances is owned by SAP, and the site URL should follow the format foldername.sapsfdemojobs.com.
In case your RMK is hosted on Command center 57, the URL should be foldername.sd57.sapsfdemojobs.com.

This should be configured in Career Site Builder >> Site Settings >> Site URL.
