3057515 - Error While Releasing a Withholding Tax Return for Country Italy: 'Electronic submission for return type Withholding Tax Return - Payment not supported'

You are trying to release a Withholding Tax Return for Country Italy and receive an error message.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Tax Management work center.
2. Go to the Withholding Tax Return view.
3. Show All Tax Returns.
4. Select the relevant Tax Return ID.
5. Click Release.

System raises the error message 'Electronic submission for return type Withholding Tax Return - Payment not supported'.

In previous Releases the Tax Return Type 13 - Withholding Tax Return - Payment was used for Payment purposes and at the same time to generate the relevant File.

Starting in Release 2102, the Tax Return Type 13 - Withholding Tax Return - Payment can no longer be used for both Payment and File.

After Release 2102, a new Withholding Tax Return Type (23 - Withholding Tax Return File) has been created with the only purpose of creating the file.

System is working as designed.
