3057677 - Story Table shows hash sign "#" instead of blank in SAP Analytics Cloud?

• When an empty value is displayed in a table, instead of showing blank it displays the hash sign "#" in  SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• There doesn't seem to be an option to change this behaviour.

This is designed behaviour or the SAC table and currently there is no option to change the behaviour.

To work around this a calculated dimension can be added to the table that will display blank when there is not data. For example with a model called "Person" with a dimension "Eye_Colour" a formula that will display as blank instead of "#" can be written like this:

IF( [d/"Person":Eye_Colour].[p/ID]="#"," ",[d/"Person":Eye_Colour] )
