3057988 - Migrated Fixed Asset not showing Migration Tab

A migrated Fixed Asset does not display the migration tab even though you have enabled the activity in Business Configuration.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Fixed Asset work center.
2. Select the view Fixed Asset.
3. Search and find Fixed Asset ABC (ABC represents the Fixed Asset ID).
4. Migration tab is not visible.

As Fixed Asset ABC is a migrated Fixed Asset your expect it to display the migration tab.

Process Control is not open for migration postings.

There is a Process Control with value for Business Process Group = All.

Migration process is not covered under the Process Control for Business Process Group: All

1. Go to the General Ledger work center.
2. Select the view Companies.
3. Select Company DEF (DEF represents the Company Code).
4. Select Set Process Control.
5. Select Add Row.
6. Enter values as follows:

Process Control Status: 1 - Not Blocked

Business Process Group: 09 - Migration

Entry Possible Until: (a date in the future)

From Posting Date: 01.01.0001 or the migration posting date

To Posting Date: 31.12.9999

Once the Process Control is available for migration, the tab will appear on the migrated Fixed Assets.
