3058143 - Error: Valuation level XXX of type Product Specification does not exist

There is an error received after the upload of a payload of Type ManageMaterialValuationDataIn.

After uploading a payload for ManageMaterialValuationDataIn you receive the error "Valuation level XXX of type Product Specification does not exist".

This occurs because a prerequisite is not completed for this Web Service as is mentioned on the Help Document

Product Valuation Level for Product Specification must already exist in the system at the time the web service is called.

This information needs to be maintained previously in the Material:

1. Go to the Inventory Valuation work center.
2. Go to the Materials view.
3. Find relevant Material.
4. Click Edit.
5. Go to the Valuation tab.
6. Click Maintain Product Specification Valuation.

Add Product Specification XXX.
