3058196 - Stock transfer of components in subcontracting scenario

It is not clear what is the system behavior for stock transfer of components in subcontracting scenario.

S/4HANA Cloud

In S/4HANA Cloud it is not required to explicitly create MRP Area material master data for MRP areas assigned to subcontractor, Area Type '03'. 
However, it is required that you create a special procurement type with "Stock transfer from plant to MRP area" for the MRP plant (i.e.. 'XXXX'), for which you want to use subcontracting with MRP Areas.
For example the special procurement type  '45' (Stock Transfer Reservations from the Plant to the MRP Area):

- Procurement Type 'F = External procurement'
- Special Procurement 'U = Stock transfer'
- Plant: the same as the plant you create the special procurement type, here in this example 'XXXX'.

- Stock Transfer Indicator: you can choose
' '  = Stock Transfer Reservations from the Plant to the MRP Area' (like default '45') or
'1' = Purchase Requisitions from the Plant to the MRP Area'

Special procurement type with 'Stock Transfer Reservations' has a higher priority as special procurement type with 'Purchase Requisitions'. This means the materials without MRP Area material master data (assigned to subcontractor) are procured by stock transfer reservations. If there is no special procurement type with 'Stock Transfer Reservations', but one with 'Purchase Requisitions', the MRP Areas without MRP Area master data are procured by stock transfer purchase requisitions.
